Picture Perfect

Cinnamon, my bunny, has been taking staples out of his cage so there was a dip in the wire, that we had to fix. Otherwise he is fine.

My dog Gizmo is fluffed up with fur and loves the camera. Just a week ago, we had to cut his fur because of fleas!!!! Gizmo is so crazy about squirrels he got fleas from them!

First Ever!!!!!

When I played checkers on the Solstice, for the first time my dad and I tied! Have you ever gotten a tie? Wow!

Christmas presents for All!

Here is a cute "Rhymo Dominoes" that is sooo cute for a little one learning to read and learn about rhymes.

In 2011 I made an owl that is a needle book by needle felting the eyes, glasses and some of the belly. My mom helped me. It was then given to my sister. 

First Snow in Weeks

The snow has been coming down in flurries all day so far. It has covered up our gnome's face, and it's FREEZING! It hasn't snowed in three weeks, which means we didn't have snow during Christmas.

Ring in the New Year!

For 2012 I have made some souvenirs to wear to a little celebration that I've had downstairs since last year. 

My celebration has a beach ball dropping at exactly 8 p.m., but this year it kept falling before it was time so it's lucky that I got a picture.

Adorable

Don't you think he's adorable? He's a dog who's soooo cute but he follows you around and around, when you do something special he's your best buddy.

The Many First days of Christmas

 My wonderful tree is just perfectly designed...... and a bit stuffed.

Christmas is here and all the advent calenders start. I have so much to do with only 25 days to do them.Sheesh,and honestly that's not too very far away.I just need to hunker down and do them. 25 days of of knitting, crocheting, sewing, and making books, but I'll keep you updated.

Halloween Party Favors

Sorry this is so late for Halloween but you can think of it next year. All I did was made a shape like the object and drew a face with crayons. This is a great party favor for any time of the year by just changing th pattern little by little. Also I got distracted from bloging, I'm sorry,I can make a come back.

Thanksgiving

It is now time to give thanks to everything, even the decorations. This is when the pilgrims set sail for Plymouth Rock. Our family has so much to do because we are having two familys over, and we still have to clean every nook and cranny. Hope you have a care free Thanksgiving. Looks like I'll be busy till then.

CHESTNUTS!

              This is our harvest of chestnuts.There is about 100 chestnuts, I don't know how we'll ever cook them all.Is there anything out there that can use this much chestnuts? Oh, I know, I'll give them to the squirrels.

A Summer Camp Magazine

        We have started Maple Tree summer camp which you might of heard this from Gingerbread Cottage.  I have been working on lots of projects like drawing and knitting and doing kokeshis. Today I am putting together a treasure hunt.

A Day at the Zoo!

 

                                       We visited the gorillas and they were pretty funny.

                          We did this in the morning because it would get to hot in the after noon.

                                               This was in April, not yesterday. 

Goofy Dog in the House!

 

                                          This goofy dog is our dog. Isn't he cute! His name is Gizmo.

Young Turtles

                                Last summer we went to a beach and saw baby turtles hatch from their nest.
                                                                    It was beautiful!                                                                 These are fake but real sized baby turtles at a museum because we couldn't take pictures of the real baby turtles.

Hail in a Thunderstorm

 

                                                 Big hail came down at around 1:00 PM.
                                                               What a storm it was.
